Do you manufacture and/or sell medical equipment?
No. We do not manufacture or sell any medical equipment. We do not “rep” any equipment. We are strictly consultants. We have good relationships with a variety of vendors which allows us to find the best price for the right product for the project. ^ top
What is medical equipment in your world?
Medical Equipment includes many of the items within each room. It includes the CT Scan or MRI; operating light and surgical table; patient physiologic monitors; stretchers and beds; televisions; refrigerators; wire shelving and carts; and waste baskets. The healthcare construction industry identifies some general standards regarding “groups” of medical equipment which we consider typical and reasonable, therefore we conform our listings to these standards. Finally, we overlap several other disciplines with medical equipment. These include Interior Design, Systems or Low Voltage Electrical Items; Information Systems, etc. We have developed special tools to make sure that all equipment is planned, but none is duplicated. ^ top
Do you handle all “F F& E” items?
Generally, F F & E refers to Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment. Typically, KNHInc stays away from the furnishings and accessories components of a project. Interior design of healthcare facilities is a very specialized expertise. We have teamed with several other Interior Design groups when a client is looking to package this with the medical equipment. We also have several Interior Design firms whom we can recommend. ^ top

Our address is 807 S. Orlando Avenue, Ste. F, Winter Park, FL 32789 which is located one block south of the intersection of Fairbanks and 17-92 in the Winter Park Business Center. Note that we are “across the street” from Orlando, and an easy 40 minute drive from the Orlando International Airport. ^ top

In what areas of the country do you work?
The majority of our projects are in the southeastern United States, typically Florida. However we have had projects all over the country, i.e. Yakama, Washington; Durant, Oklahoma; Jamestown, Tennessee; Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Do you only provide consulting services within the United States?
We only contract with American owned companies; however we have contracted with and bid on projects in Europe, Africa, and the Far East. ^ top
Do you have any special business affiliations?
Yes, we have minority status as a Women Owned Business, and we are active in several community organizations (see our team bios). ^ top
